Ronda Roberts High Heel Samurai:
High Heel Samurai Act 2
August 1, 2008
In the second part of the pilot episode, Mia (Judith Kalaora) meets with her sister, Tori (Lauren Guglielmello), at a diner. She questions her sister as to why she was in the ally watching the fight. Mia informs Tori that she does not want her sister at the fight because it isn’t safe. Tori “fights” for her right to be involved with the street fighting. When Mia puts her foot down, Tori threatens to go to her father with the events going on in the streets – so Mia agrees to allow Tori to judge. Catia (Alexandra Maiorino) and Sophie (Sam Pannier) have a cow when Mia tells them she’s allowing Tori to judge. The girls discuss John and his talents. Sophie tells Catia that while Catia has more control, she considers herself to be the better fighter.

If you like Charlie’s Angels and Kill Bill – movies where beautiful women kick serious booty – then you’ll be a big fan of High Heel Samurai. In this episode, we are shown the tension between the women, and the introductions to the different personalities between the four girls in the illegal fighting club. We also learn that their club isn’t just secret and forbidden by the law enforcement, but that the father (and founder) of Mia and Tori would be quite upset if he were aware the girls were revitalizing the street fighting scene. While this part of the webisode did not show any physical action, the potential for some serious emotional action was there when Catia and Sophie were comparing their relative worth and friendships to Mia.
