Ronda Roberts High Heel Samurai:
Hidden Agendas and Broken Hearts 6
August 1, 2008
John (Paul Drechsler-Martell) and Tori (Lauren Guglielmello) talk about their after high school plans. We learn that John has a dream of going to UCLA. Tori tells John that she could never leave Boston and that she’s applying to almost all Ivy League schools. Tori then advises him to ask her friend, Rachel out on a date (Thus continuing the pass the eligible friend game) He declines, stating that her friend probably doesn’t like him too much anyway. The two sitting there studying reminds me of the days in high school when I would study with my guy-pal and endure (and sometimes like Tori thwart) his continuous advances.

Other couple trouble in this episode falls upon Jack (Brandon Stumpf) and Mia (Judith Kalaora). The two go on a date and Jack comments on the redundancy of the restaurant location and her choice for dinner (duck). During the terse conversation, Mia confirms that he has been lying to her about working in construction. Jack seems oblivious to the anger in Mia’s voice. During this episode, there is quite the temptation to grab Mia and tell her “Just confront him already!” It will be interesting to see how this storyline will play out in future episodes.

It turns out that Mia is not the only one who has uncovered Jack’s and Frank’s (Drew Cooper) covers. The people Jack and Frank have been trading with also know that these two men are cops. When Frank makes the trade in lieu of Jack being present with him, Marx informs him that his woman, Eve (Tasha Merulla) would like nothing more than compete in the Guerrieri. What a place to leave off! In order to find out what happens next, there is only one honorable thing to do: Check out the next episodes of High Heel Samurai.
