Ronda Roberts High Heel Samurai:
Hidden Agendas and Broken Hearts 5
August 1, 2008
Catia (Alexandra Maiorino) admits that she is completely miserable in her new job – her project is like quicksand and she is not quite sure whether she can escape. Mia (Judith Kalaora) tells her that she needs to decide for herself what she should be doing. Mia then gives the Catia some salient advice - if she is not doing what she loves then she is wasting her time. This is good advice for anyone who feels miserable or lost in their job, college major, etc. There is a great phrase; “Do what you love and the rest will follow.” Catia responds, explaining that the Guerrieri is what she loves.

Regardless of her comments to Mia, Catia winds up being late for the tournament. When she does show up, the girls throw her in first. Later, when it is time to vote, Catia is late yet again. (It seems as though even though Catia claims that she’s never happier than when participating in the Guerrieri , that she really is a company girl. Once Catia does show up, everyone but Sophie (Sam Pannier) votes in Verna Trink. Despite Sophie’s many protests otherwise, the girls are insistent – claiming that she is quite strong and that she will be an asset to the competition. A secondary motivation for voting Trink in may also have to do with the fact that Sophie used such dirty tactics to win the competition against her, and the other girls want to give her a fighting chance. Regardless, the Guerrieri will go on and Mia will announce the vote on the next episode of High Heel Samurai.
