Ronda Roberts High Heel Samurai:
Bad Dates and Sore Losers Act 6
August 1, 2008
Voting night has arrived again for the girls! Antonio (Chip Perro) receives a unanimous vote from the girls. The girls vote Jack (Brandon Stumpf) in three to one. Catia (Alexandra Maiorino) refuses to concede to a “yes” for Jack, adhering to Mia’s (Judith Kalaora) intuition about the fighter. Mia argues with Catia for a moment, giving the reason, “we don’t know anything for certain about Jack.”

At the same time Frank (Drew Cooper) and Jack meet. Jack claims dinner was just “okay” when asked. He protests that he is interested in Mia only as far as it is an under-cover assignment. When Frank questions this motive, Jack reinforces his claim (perhaps a little too strong?) and tries to quell his partner’s suspicions.

At home, Mia apologizes to Tori (Lauren Guglielmello) for talking down to her in the restaurant. Tori responds to Mia, saying she is glad that her sister cares about her so much. Once Mia retires for the evening, a knock sounds at the door. When Tori answers it, she discovers that it is John (Paul Drechsler-Martell), with flowers. He tells Tori that he would love to have her friendship if she will have it and apologizes for his all or nothing attitude exhibited earlier.

This is an episode dealing with humbling one’s self and apologizing (especially when it comes to Tori being the recipient.) It also deals with avoiding hasty decisions and judgments. When ego is involved, tempers tend to flare – as we saw in the previous episode dealing with John and Tori. However, Jack is “in” the finals for the Guerrieri. With this development, did the girls make the wrong decision? Will they find out that Jack is an undercover cop before it is too late?
